Two Melbourne stores worth a visit

Paula and I visited family in Melbourne in November and found time to check out a couple of our Soundring styli dealers.
Philip Jackson at Multisonics in Thornbury repairs old hi fi equipment, particularly record players and radiograms and has a broad selection of restored units on display. His wife has an interesting collection of antiques and bric a brac.
David Thompson's Captain Stomp Records has been an online store for a couple of years but opened a shop in Ferntree Gully last July. He has an impressive range of LPs, mostly re-issues and new releases. There's even an area in front of a fireplace to sit and listen before purchasing.
