Cleaning your stylus regularly is very important, but many brushes are too soft to do it properly, and fluids are not recommended by many cartridge manufacturers. This plastic sheet from Linn is mildy abrasive on the dull side, and when it is carefully drawn over the stylus tip from the rear will dislodge material which has become fused to the diamond. To use, cut the sheet into small strips about 50mm x 10mm.
