KD500 direct drive turntable, SME 3009 Series 3 tonearm

This system is in excellent condition and comes with all original packaging. A rare top of the line combination from the late 70s. It is on consignment and a credit to the owner. Demonstrations are available in our lounge room at Esk, and delivery and set up can be arranged in the South East Queensland area. Description

The Kenwood KD-500 is a 2-speed, direct drive turntable featuring a stroboscope with lamp, fine speed adjusting control, height adjustment and free stop action dust cover.

The SME 3009 Series 3 tonearm is a low-mass tonearm with plug-in arm tube. Accepts phono cartridges weighing up to 12gm. Adjustable mass. Damped cueing control. Adjustable viscous damping on arm.

The Denon DL-103S is a low output moving coil cartridge with a special nude elliptical tip. It has been cleaned and shows no sign of wear.

The Denon AU-320 step-up transformer has inputs for two turntables, and switchable impedance or bypass.
