Phono Cartridge Inspection

This item is to enable the payment for the inspection of a phono cartridge at the Garrott Lab.

Once inspected we will advise whether there is any problem which would prevent us proceeding with the re-tipping of the cartridge. For example the cantilever or suspension may be damaged, or we may feel that the general condition of the cartridge does not make spending the money on an upgraded stylus worthwhile. The Garrott Lab technician will advise which types of diamond tips are suitable and will make a recommendation. In many cases the performance of the cartridge can be improved compared to its original specification.

The cartridge should be posted to Decibel Hi Fi, PO Box 92, Esk, Queensland, Australia, 4312. We recommend that you insure it against loss.
